Rock Hudson’s former home up for sale

LOS ANGELES, May 2:  The former home of legendary Hollywood heartthrob Rock Hudson has been put up for sale by its current owner “Pitch Perfect” director Jason Moore.
Moore, who also helmed the Amy Poehler and Tina Fey comedy “Sisters”, listed his mid-century Californian estate for USD 1.09 million, reported Variety.
The 1,008-square-foot home in Studio City, Los Angeles, was designed by architect Ralph Bowerman in 1950, and belonged to Hollywood icon Rock Hudson from 1951 to 1955.
The property, nestled in the hills above Coldwater Canyon, has a private driveway that leads to a secluded 14,000-square-foot lot, which divides the home from the road and neighbours.
The one-bed, one-bath home features exposed beam ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom and living room. Outside the property there is a swimming pool and a large wooden deck area.
Hudson died in his sleep in October 1985 from AIDS-related complications at his home in Beverly Hills, at the age of 59. He was the first major celebrity to die from the disease. (PTI)
