RJD supports Cong, NC in Lok Sabha polls

JAMMU, Apr 5: State executive of the Rashtriya Janata Dal held a meeting here under the chairmanship of Vijay Mahajan, State secretary general to discussed the current political situation in the wake of coming Lok Sabha elections.
While addressing Vijay Mahajan said that National Conference and Congress are the coalition partners in the present State dispensation and striving hard to mitigate the sufferings of the masses, hence both the parties deserve that their candidates be extended full support so that after election the elected representatives of the State could plead the cause of Jammu and Kashmir people in Parliament.
The speakers in the meeting appealed the electorates to exercise their right to franchise in favour of Congress candidates Ghulam Nabi Azad and Madan Lal Sharma in Jammu province and NC candidates in the Valley.
Those who attended the meeting besides Vijay Mahajan included Bharat Bhushan general secretary, Mahesh Padha, Sanjeev Verma, Sumit Gupta, Nagarmal Chargotra, Utter Prakash Sharma, S Ravail Singh and others.
