JAMMU, Nov 15: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Ritu Choudhary here today inaugurated construction work of roof of newly constructed community hall at Ward number 7 near Baba Puniya Puri Shiv Mandir near Vivekanand Chowk.
Speaking on the occasion Choudhary said that community hall was the long pending demand of the people of the area and its completion with facilitate them in their social functions.
She further said that other works of the Ward shall also be completed soon and sought cooperation from the Ward residents in making the Ward a clean place in the city.
The JMC Councillor asked the people to use the services of door-to-door moving garbage collecting autos and avoid throwing the garbage on streets and in drains.
She stressed on avoiding single use plastic to make Jammu a beautiful city and thanked the JMC authorities for sanctioning funds for the developmental works in her Ward.
