Ritika, Rashika, Vishali emerge winner in Girls Lemon Race

KS Public School celebrates Annual Sports day

JAMMU, Apr 18: KS Public School, Muthi, celebrated Annual Sports day with great enthusiasm and fanfare, in which students participated enthusiastically.
On the occasion, Sudesh Sharma, Chairperson of the school, was the chief guest, while Mukta Sharma, Director, was the guest of honour. Besides, parents and students were also present.
Seema Malhotra, Principal of the school, presented the welcome address and highlighted the achievements of the students in co-curricular activities.
While speaking, Sudesh Sharma and Mukta Sharma, threw light on the importance of sports and said that sports play pivotal role for the overall development of body viz mentally and physically.
In Lemon Race (Girls), Ritika, Rashika and Vishali secured first three rankings respectively whereas in Lemon Race (Boys), Manik, Suksham and Sahil bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In 100 meter Race, Ayush, Raman and Sameer claimed first, second and third positions respectively in Boys category, whereas in Girls category, Vishali, Palak and Bhumika secured first three positions respectively.
In 200 meter Race, Naman, Rohit and Swaraj claimed first, second and third positions respectively in Boys category while Riya, Khushboo and Disha bagged first, second and third positions respectively in Girls category.
In 3 Leg Race, Sujal and Sahil, Raghunandan and Kapirarth, Chetan Wali and Bhanu secured first three rankings respectively in Boys category, whereas Sania and Bhumika, Chetan and Archana claimed first and second positions respectively in Girls category.
In Sack Race, Sahil, Karan and Anju secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In Frog Race (Boys), Danish, Vishal and Aryan secured first, second and third positions respectively whereas in Girls category, Takshika, Suhani claimed first and second positions respectively.
In Karate, Shubham, Sushant, Sourav and Shivya Chopra bagged Gold medals while Bhuvan, Paras, Chandan and Vanshika Bhadwal secured silver medals. The bronze medals was conferred to Kanav Sharma.
In Kho-Kho, Tawi house emerged winner, whereas in Kabaddi, Chenab house secured first rank.
