JAMMU, July 16: Chairman of J&K Congress Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangathan (RGPRS), Sandeep Singh Rissam, convened a meeting with members of civil society in Gadigarh to discuss prevalent issues and gather suggestions for community improvement.
Representatives from social, religious, transport, and business sectors voiced concerns including the increasing drug problem, pending refugee compensation, and governance challenges in J&K.
Rissam appreciated the constructive feedback and urged active participation from all sectors for societal betterment.
He assured ongoing efforts to address local issues like water, power stability, and road repairs, emphasizing the need for timely elections to ensure effective governance and resolve community grievances.
