JAMMU: Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports and Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday inaugurated indoor multipurpose sports complex here at Bhagwati Nagar.
The complex is constructed by the J&K State Sports Council at the cost of Rs 4 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister urged the sports authorities to play an active role in promoting fitness among people. Emphasising high need for promoting sports culture in India, he said that desired results can only be achieved by developing a positive and conducive sports ecosystem. (AGENCIES)
