JAMMU, Oct 13: Rigved and Gayatri Mahayagya organized by the Arya Samaj Mandir in its premises at Bakshi Nagar concluded with Purnahuti of the Yagya this afternoon.
The week-long programme was started on October 6, 2013. The yagya was performed by Doctor Vidyadhar Shastri while Acharya Vidyadev from Gujarat with Vedic mantras and sermons threw light on the existence of Aatma-Parmatama and Nature.
He also gave sermons to relieve people from the clutches of those who on the name of religion and God are cheating people and playing with their religious beliefs. He also gave sermons for the enlightenment and development of the soul which is the aim of the Vedas.
Yog specialist, Ravikant, enlightened the devotees about the importance of ‘Yog’ and its appropriate use in our daily lives.
Bhajan singer, Sandeep with his bhajans presented the Vedic principles among the people, who thronged the temple premises and participated in the Mahayagya.
