Right to vote

Sir,
There is no doubt that India is one of the biggest democracies of the world. To win freedom from the cutches of the English dominance for more than two hundred years, entailed sacrifice of a numberless freedom fighters. But any how India became a free nation after the diehard freedom struggle under the leadership of great statesman such as  Mahatma Gandhi, M L Nehru, Sir Sayeed Ahmad Khan, Mr Jinnah and so many others.
Nowadays when the elections are taking place for the Lok Sabha hectic activities are taking place. The political parties are busy in picking holes in each other and wooing voters to vote for their parties. In this hard struggle, the advantage goes to the people who get a chance to vote for the party that could meet their aspirations.
It is the responsibility of the electorate to choose capable and experienced candidates who can form a popular Govt which can really go a long way in meeting the aspirations of the people. Right to vote is the biggest gift which the people should hold in high esteem and make its judicious use.
Yours etc…
