SRINAGAR: Militants fired a rifle grenade towards police line in south Kashmir district of Pulwama late Tuesday evening, official sources said.
They said militants fired a rifle grenade from an unknown place towards police lines at Pulwama. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded without causing any damage.
The sentry on the main gate also fired several rounds in the air, they said adding a massive search operation has been launched in the area to nab militants responsible for the attack. (AGENCIES)
