Rich tributes paid to martyred Rajouri cop

RAJOURI, Aug 13:   The Jammu and Kashmir Police along with Army today paid rich tributes to Selection Grade Constable Parvez Ahmed, a resident of Dhandote in  Budhal, who sacrificed his life during an encounter in Batmaloo area of Srinagar on Sunday.
The mortal remains of the martyr reached his native village in Budhal  today morning where thousands of local people, officers from police as well as army were present.
Rich and glorious tributes to the martyr were paid to the martyred  Police personal in professional manner and senior officers including SSP Rajouri Yougal Manhas,  Commanding Officer 60 RR Col. T P Sharma, I/C Commandant IRP 2nd Bn Liaqat Chowdhary, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Abdul Quyoom Mir, DySP Operations Sukhdev Singh, SDPO Manjakote Dr  Imtiyaz Ahmed, Executive Magistrate Budhal, Khursheed Tantray along with SHO Kandi Inspector  Manzoor Kohli  and SHO Budhal, Jahangir Ahmed were present who paid tributes to the martyr.
Later, amid presence of thousands of people, martyr was buried in the village graveyard. The people from all walks of life attended the last rites of the village hero and paid floral tributes.
