JAMMU, June 6: Rich tribute were paid to Haji Buland Khan, veteran Gujjar & Bakerwal leader and former Vice Chairman of J&K Gujjar Bakerwal Advisory Board on his 15th death anniversary.
In this connection a function was organized here today by Gujjar Bakerwal Civil Society Jammu (GBCSJ) which was presided over by Gujjar leader, Anwar Choudhary.
Noor Alam was chief guest while AD Food and Civil Supplies, Mohd Sageer Choudhary was guest of honour.
Recalling services of Haji Buland Khan, the speakers termed him a great visionary and a dynamic personality.
Paying tribute to Buland Khan, Anwar Choudhary termed him a legendary reformer, who struggled hard for the socio-economic development and education for the children of deprived sections.
Sarpanch Malik Market Fazal Din, Haji Ghulam Rasool, Haji Dil Mir, Haji Gulam Rasool, Abdul Majeed, Babar Ali, District vice president Indian Youth Congress, Mohd Sadiq, State president Gujjar Youth Forum J&K and others paid tributes to Haji Buland Khan.
Mohd Sageer Choudhary talked about life and works of Buland Khan and the programme was conducted by Tariq Abrar.
