RAMNAGAR, Jan 9:- Ranbir Singh Pathania, State spokesperson BJP, while addressing public meetings at Garh Samna Banj, Sanote, Beral, Panjian, Babay, Sarana, Been, Laa, Chakka villages of the area said that revolutionary steps were taken in face-lifting road network in his Constituency during a short span of three years.
It was in his tenure that age old demands of the people of the area including metalled roads for Garah Samna Banj, Chore Panjian, Motu, Nokain, Babay, Marialaa, Rajundi, Laa, Noul has been fulfilled, he said, adding during this tenure that 100-bedded Girls Hostel has come up at Garh Samna Banj which is being built at an estimated cost of four crore and will be a game-changer in facilitating girls’ education in the area.
He said electrification of Laa (ST-majority village) and Noul (SC-majority village) was done. The villages have seen a light of freedom since independence now only. People of the area were all-praise for Pathania who has changed the definition and dynamics of development in the hilly crisis-cross of Ramnagar in a short period of two years and eleven months.
Pathania reiterated his resolve for providing metalled road connectivity to each and every habitation of Ramnagar Constituency. He said that roads are the key-indicators of development. Although, Ramnagar is a far-flung area with a serpentine road network scattered throughout the Constituency. He said when he was elected as a Legislator, there was not even a single PMGSY road which was metalled or blacktopped. Within a short stint blacktopping work on more than half a score of roads has been done and they stand dedicated to the public and work on other half score of roads (for blacktopping) is underway and is in final stages of completion.
Pathania further said that during his very short stint as elected representative of Ramnagar, he has dedicated metalled roads upto Panjian, Sundla, Pathwar, Bilaspur, Neeli, Khuga, Manwal, Katheel-Ganju, Chowki, Birnoo, Kela, Rashoul, Sulan, Kela, Satyan, Amroh, Daler More and a score of other villages. He said that macadamization works (Phase-II PMGSY) are underway on Marta-Dheeran road, Kulwanta-Jophar road, Bari-Ladana road, block boundary, Katwalt road, Kaghote-Lehri Shumb road, Plassan-Bainsta, Dhanwalt, Rang, Bland, and a score of other roads of the area.
He further said that work on macadamization/carving out of fresh, as many as scores of roads, sanctioned during his tenure as a Legislator shall be started in the near future. He has got sanctioned an amount of eight hundred crores for propping up of roads network in Ramnagar.
