Programme, which is being executed in the State through RAMTeCH Software Solutions Pvt Ltd.
Addl DC informed that though the work of scanning of record in the Regional Directorate was going on, yet there is need for augmentation of the work of quality check for which additional manpower is required.
It was decided by the chair that the Tehsildar and Additional DC will work out a comprehensive roster deploying the concerned Patwaries, Girdawars and Naib Tehsildars on rotational basis so that the record is checked on time and the backlog is cleared.
The Regional Director also assured to take up the matter with higher authorities for getting additional manpower and also from the vender RAMTeCH Software Solutions Pvt Ltd. In another important decision it was decided to start the training programme in the district under the supervision of Principal RTI Jammu for updating the skill and knowledge of Revenue Officials for writing of Jamabandies and other error free Revenue record.
The Regional Director Survey and Land Records directed the officers to identify at least four officials from the District who can be trained as master Trainers so that this training has a cascading effect and further programmes are conducted at each Tehsil Headquarter without creating any inconvenience to the general public.
While addressing the officers present in the meeting, the Director assured them that he will put every effort with his team to revamp the overall working of Revenue officials of the district.
In the meeting, it was also decided to rationalize the postings of Patwaries and Girdawars by taking the matter with competent authorities so that the work does not suffer in far flung areas where there is reportedly acute shortage of staff and the work of proper maintenance and writing of record is being effected.
