Sir,
The article “Revamping Education Policy in J&K” by M M Sharma, DE April 23,2015 is a praiseworthy document. The article speaks the ground realities which are to be kept in mind while deciding the Educational Policy in any State. The suggestions given by the author regarding provision of staff (creation of posts) in Zonal Education officer at NES Block Headquarters as well as out side the NES Block Officer should be the same as each is having the same kind of work load is quite justified.
The other suggestions like delinking of classes from 1st to 10th from the Hr Sec Schools with a sanctioned post of Headmaster, ending of the Board Exams of 3rd and 5th pry have solid reasons for their genuineness. It would not be wrong to say that such learned and experienced persons like the author should be encouraged to bring the realities on surface so that the human resources which is considered the most valuable resource is benefitted and shaped well.
Yours etc….
