Sir,
Kindly refer article, “How long shall KPs wait !” The article is informative and quite in tune with the time and the circumstances prevailing. During all these 27 years both the Centre and the State Government have been experimenting and devising different policies from time to time without any concrete results and never taking KPs into confidence. The existence of scores of KPs parties and organizations, having divergent views regarding the return have aggravated the problem because of non existence of one voice under one flag. Some are in favour of a separate colony for KPs and others favour living in their native places. Both these suggestion seem to be impracticable taking into view present scenario. Moreover, most of the people have disposed off their property on throw away prices, liquidating land and houses which now is difficult to retrieve. The new generation, after a long spell of 27 years, has adjusted themselves in India and even outside India. So the Govt at the Centre and the State should devise a coherent policy to find a one time solution to the long pending aspirations of KPs.
Yours etc…
