JAMMU: Education Minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said today the Government has suspended the ‘Rehbar-e-Taleem’ selections to first consolidate resources in view of the financial implications of the scheme.
“We are already facing problems in paying salaries of serving ReTs due to resource issues. It has been decided to go for new selection of ReTs only after resource assessment,” Bukhari said in the Legislative Assembly here.
Replying to a calling attention notice moved by PDP MLA Abdul Majid Padder, the Minister said the large number of litigations was also a reason for pendency of ReT cases. (AGENCIES)
