REASI, Feb 16: As a part of its district wise protests in the State, members of Jammu Kashmir Rehbar -e -Taleem Teachers Forum (JKRTTF), district unit Reasi, held a strong protest at district head quarters, here today, highlighting their demands, particularly release of pending salary.
The protest was led by State general secretary of the Forum, Jahanghir Alam Khan and district president Reasi Bhadur Singh. The protesting ReTs raised slogans in support of their demands and against the Education authorities.
They were demanding release of pending salary , implementation of transfer policy, legalization of ReT teachers, etc.
The ReT teachers assembled at Prade Ground Reasi and then marched peacefully towards the District Development Commissioner’s Office Reasi where they submitted a written memorandum of demands to the DDC.
State general secretary of the forum Jahangeer Aalam Khan and district President of the fourm Bhadur Singh addressed the protesting ReTs and warned to intensify the agitation if their genuine demands are not conceded by the Government.
