UDHAMPUR, Oct 18: Highlighting their demands, members of J&K ReT Teachers Forum held a meeting-cum protest rally in Ramnagar under the chairmanship of Bhupinder Singh, here today.
The rally was joined by a number of ReTs from Kalwanta, Ramnagar, Ghordi and Dudu zones. Carrying placards, they raised slogans in support of their demands, like regularization, release of salary under SSA, etc.
While speaking on the occasion, Bhupinder Singh criticized the State Government for not releasing the pending salary of thousands of ReTs working under SSA and also not issuing the Regularization order in favour of those ReTs who have already completed their five years service satisfactory.
Asking the State Government to resolve their issues before ending of this month, Mr Singh warned that the Forum would announce agitational path and protests against anti ReT policies of the Government.
The meeting was attended by Parshotam Sharma, Surjeet Singh, Sham Singh, Sanjeev Sharma, Yudhvir Singh, Sunil Singh, Rekha Kumari, Naveen Dogra, Jagdish Singh, Satpaul, Gagan Thakur, Giyan Chand, Govind Ram, Arjun Singh, Romesh Chander and others.
