UDHAMPUR, June 2: During their monthly meeting, held here today, Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Talim demanded conversion of Undergraduate Teachers to Teachers Grade II, Resolution of issue of Head Teachers and initiation of regularisation process.
The monthly meeting, held under the chairmanship of State president Vinod Sharma and District president Lekh Raj Parihar, was attended by the executive members of Forum from all the eleven zones of the district.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma appealed the Governor’s administration to issue the order of Conversion to Teachers Grade II in favour of undergraduate teachers of the State as they are suffering badly for want of their salaries. He also urged the Government to resolve the issue of head teachers who are also suffering badly due to financial crunch.
State Chief Coordinator Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, while speaking on the occasion, urged the authorities of Education Department to initiate the regularisation process of ReTs who have completed 5 years of period and are waiting for the same for the last two years. He also appealed the Director School Education Jammu to issue the Teachers Grade II orders of left out graduates.
Lekh Raj Parihar, while speaking on the occasion, appealed the Government to release the pending SSA salary for the month of February before Eid as the teachers working under SSA are without salary for the last 4 months and their families are suffering badly.
Others who also spoke on the occasion, included Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Ashok Seth, Pritam Goswami , Ravinder Rathore , Shamsher Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Balbinder Singh, Sushil Singh, Anil Sharma, Swaran Singh, Vipin Sharma, Suresh Sharma, Sudesh Kumar and Sandeep Singh.
