JAMMU, Nov 11: A deputation of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum, led by State president Vinod Sharma, today called on State Project Director SSA, S A Lehrwal regarding release of SSA salary.
While interacting with SPD, Vinod Sharma put forth the demand of release of several months SSA salary of regularized ReT Teachers under SSA, including one year pay arrears of regularized EVs.
Mr Lehrwal disclosed that no State or Centre share under SSA has been released due to which there is salary crisis. He said that Rs 216 crores released by centre has already been disbursed but still there is much more pendency in grants and assured to release the same as and when the share money is received.
After the meeting with SPD, ReT Forum held an emergency meeting and threatened to boycott election duties if their salaries are not released before 20th of this month.
According to Rajesh Singh Jamwal, provincial president, in Poonch SSA Salary is pending for last 8 months, in Kathua for 6 months, in Jammu for 3 months, in Doda for 4 months and in all other Distts 2 to 3 months.
