JAMMU, Feb 14: A deputation of J&K ReT Teachers ‘ Forum, led by State president Vinod Sharma called on Education Minister Sayeed Altaf Bukhari in his office chamber at Civil Secretariat Jammu regarding the issue of SSA Salary.
During the meeting, Vinod Sharma reminded the Education Minister regarding his commitment to release the salary for the month of December in the month of January and said that the same was still pending for last 2 months.
The Minister listened to the deputation quite patiently and said that he had already taken up the matter with Finance Minister who had assured that the salary will be released shortly.
Later the deputation also called on Finance Minister Dr H.A. Drabu and urged him to release the salary of SSA teachers immediately. Drabu assured the deputation that he will release the salary of SSA teachers for the month of December as well as January before the end of the next week.
