JAMMU, July 12: RLJP has demanded that the lands encroached by the wrong elements in Kashmir should be retrieved and returned to the temples to which such lands belonged to so that the devotees and pilgrims might be benefitted.
In a press conference here today RLJP national spokesperson, Sanjay Saraf along with Anita Chandpuri, Sushma Sharma, Satbeer Kour, Daisy Bhat, Mohanlal Bakshi, Anil Pandita and Shuban Bhat who identify themselves as social and political leaders of KPs claimed that the land operated by a hospital in Kashmir fetched Rs. 74 lakh to some middlemen and this land should be returned to the temple to which it belongs.
They urged upon the LG to ensure that such payments of lease should go to the account of the temple and not to some middlemen.
Another demand raised by these leaders was to consult those who are most affected while drafting policies for their relief and rehabilitation of KPs.
