JAMMU, Jan 31:On their retirement from service, several officers and officials in different departments were accorded warm send off by their colleagues, seniors and juniors, here today.
Kuldeep Raina, Private Secretary to Director General of Police (DGP) and Inspector Vijay Kumar Nakhasi were accorded a warm send off on their superannuation today. A farewell function in this regard was held at J&K Police Headquarters wherein ADG S P Vaid highlighted the contribution of retiring officers.
Officers and staff of Animal Husbandry Department Jammu accorded a warm farewell to Dr A K Abrol (Chief Executive Officer-Livestock Development Board, Jammu), Kewal Krishan Rana (Section Officer), Madan Lal Sharma (Assistant Veterinary Officer) and Baldev Raj (Driver), who attained the age of superannuation today. Speaking on the occasion, Dr P K Magotra, Director Animal Husbandry Department Jammu, lauded the meritorious services rendered by the retirees during their service tenure.
The employees and officers of Information Department accorded an affectionate adieu to their three colleagues Jagdhar Sharma (Accounts Officer), Siraj-ud-Din (Head Assistant) and Khurshid Ahmed (Accounts Officer), who retired today from the Government service.
An impressive function in this regard was held at the Directorate of Information at Panama Chowk. The function was presided over Joint Director Information, Shakeel Ahmad Taing and attended by Deputy Director R S Jamwal and other officers. They lauded services of the retiring officials and wished them a happy retired life.
Information Department also accorded warm send off to its two other employees Raj Kumar Bhalla (Section Officer) and Satyarth Vir (Chauffeur) in a simple yet impressive function held at Joint Director Office Mubarak Mandi, Jammu today. Joint Director Information Jammu, Inder Jeet presided over the function and lauded the contributions of the retiring officials. Deputy Director Information (PR) Jammu, Jyoti Salathia was also present on the occasion.
Warm send off was given to Mukesh Sharma (Senior Audit Officer), Kranti Sharma (Senior Accountant) and Bimla Ji (Senior Accountant) in the office of Pr Accountant General (Audit) on their retirement today. DAG J L Meena and others wished the retiring officials a happy post-retirement life.
Jammu University Non Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) accorded a warm send off to Bal Krishan Khajuria, Asst Registrar and Surindra Gupta, Assistant Technical Officer who retired on attaining age of superannuation today. All the office bearers of JUNTEU were present on the occasion of farewell function and they wished the retiring officials a happy post-retirement life.
At Doordarshan Kendra Jammu, Senior Engineer Kamal Krishan and Cameraman Karan Singh were given a warm farewell on their superannuation today. Director DD Jammu, Shabir Mujahid lauded services of the retiring employees.
C L Bhat, Sr Manager Punjab National Bank, Kachi Chawni Jammu retired after putting in about 35 years of his service to the bank. Deputy General Manager PNB Ashok Gupta and vice president All India Punjab National Bank Officers Association Satish Khajuria described C L Bhat as an honest, dedicated and matured banker.
Punjab National Bank Officer Rakesh Kr Gupta, who retired today after rendering 36 years of service to the bank, was given a warm send off by the staff members of PNB Rehari Chowk branch. The retiring officer was also wished a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
Partap Singh, Administrative Officer, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, was given a warm send off on his superannuation from the service. The farewell function was attended by A S Gill, Officiating Deputy Commissioner, KVS (Jammu Region), B L Morodia, Assistant Commissioner and other staff members. They appreciated the contribution of Pratap Singh to the Sangathan and wished him a happy post-retirement life.
Staff members in SMGS Hospital Jammu accorded a warm send off to Nirmla Devi on her retirement after a service of 32 years as ANM. She was also wished a happy post-retirement life.
Swarn Singh retired today as Work Supervisor, Irrigation Division Number II, Jammu after rendering 33 years of service to the government. He was accorded a warm send off and wished a happy post-retirement life by his colleagues, seniors and juniors.
Vashino Dutt of Chenani was accorded a warm and affectionate farewell on his retirement from the Health Department. All the employees of Health department Chenani were present on the occasion and they wished Vashino Dutt a happy post-retirement life.
