JAMMU, Apr 30: A large number of Government employees and others who superannuated today from active services were accorded warm and touching farewells at their respective place of postings by their officers and colleagues and were wished a very happy and healthy life after retirement.
Er Bharat Bhushan Gandotra, Executive Engineer, Tubewel Irrigation Division Jammu, was today accorded a warm and affectionate farewell on his superannuation. Chief Engineer I&FC K K Gupta was the chief guest who lauded the services of Er Bharat Bhushan Gandotra and wished him a happy retired life. Er B B Gandotra joined services in October 1980 and executed various prestigious projects in different divisions and is also a life member of Institute of Engineers India. Prominent among those who attended the farewell function included SE Sushil Aima, Abinandan Singh, R K Kohli, Viney Gupta and Brij Bhushan Khajuria.
Director Litigation Jammu, Ashok Kumar Ambardar was given a touching send off at a function in which Advocate General M I Qadri was the chief guest, who appreciated the services of the retiring officer. Additional Secretary to Government, Department of Law, Achal Sethi and others also lauded the noted services of the retiree. A memento was also presented to Ashok Kumar Ambardar as token of love and appreciation.
Deputy Director (P&S), Sheep Husbandry Department was accorded farewell on his retirement. Director Sheep Husbandry Dr S K Sharma while speaking in the function highlighted the qualities of head and heart of the retiring officer and wished him a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Assistant Director, Postal Services, Manohar Lal Sharma, who attained superannuation from the office of the PMG Jammu, was given a warm send off on his retirement. He joined the service as Postal Assistant and later qualified as Inspector and during his service tenure he served the department in various capacities.
Joint Director Prosecution, Zonal Police Headquarters, Mufti Javed was accorded a warm send off on his retirement today. IGP Abdul Ghani Mir while speaking lauded the services of Mufti Javed and wished him a happy and healthy life after retirement.
Dr Gurjit Singh, Professor and HoD CTVS, Government Medical College Jammu today retired on superannuation today. He was accorded a warm and affectionate farewell and wished a happy and healthy life after retirement.
Sardarni Govind Kour, ACDPO, R S Pura, on her superannuation was accorded warm send off by the staff of CDPO, R S Pura. All wished her a happy and healthy post retirement life.
Junior Engineer Rattan Singh, who retired from Rural Development Department was accorded a warm and affectionate send off by his officers and colleagues and all wished him a well settled happy and healthy life after retirement.
Punjab National Bank Staff Union accorded warm send off to Comrade Joginder Lal, Head Cashier, Branch Office Durga Nagar Jammu on his retirement on superannuation. All wished him a happy and healthy life after retirement.
Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union accorded warm farewell to Ravinder Singh Pathania, Randhir Singh, Ram Lal and Kulbhushan Kumar on their superannuation. All the office bearers of the union, who were present on the occasion wished the retirees a happy and healthy life after retirement.
State Information Department today accorded emotive and warm farewell to Music Composer P K Tandon as also to Cultural Assistants Ramesh Chander and S Charanjeet Singh on their superannuation.
Junior Assistant, Ram Lal, presently working in the State Institute of Education Jammu was given warm send off on his retirement on attaining superannuation today. Principal S K Gandotra presided over the farewell function and all wished the retiree a happy and healthy life after retirement.

Ghika Ram, Master, who was accorded warm send off by the staff members of Government Boys High School, Badyal Brahmana. Ghika Ram joined the School Education Department in 1990 and rendered more than 32 years services in the department.
