The people of the State in general and the youth in particular are facing several problems due to poverty, unemployment, corruption and misgovernance. So, under theses circumstances the enhancement in retirement age is irrelevant and injustice to the thousands of unemployed youth who feel themselves a burden in the society. Moreover, it will encourage corruption with which the people are already fed up.
If the Government is really sincere to solve the problems of the Government employees, it should remove pay anomaly in different grades, introduce running grade pattern and give representation to the wards of the retired employees.This step will prove fatal and contrary to the Government plans. The employees who retired after the agreement was signed by the Government and the State employee shall have to think for a legal action if the enhancement is made.
