Retirees Police League raises issues

JAMMU, Jan 16: Retirees Police League Jammu raised various issues during the meeting which was held under the chairmanship of Karanjit Singh (Retd DSP), president of the League, here today.
They raised issues including non availability of medical staff in Police Hospital, non availability of free medicine in the hospital and most important issue was that they don’t get proper attention in the Police units of the district.
Earlier, they paid homage by observing two minutes’ silence to departed souls including Mangat Ram (SP), Ved Parkash (DSP), Rajesh Kumar (SP), Onkar Singh (DSP) and Om Raj Sharma (SI).
They demanded that the security wing of Police may be instructed to facilitate their entry in Secretariat and other help and also requested SSP Jammu to hold a retirees meeting.
The participants of the meeting were Ch Chirag Din, Ranjit Singh, ML Sharma, Mahandeep Singh, Prabhdyal Sharma, Savita Parihar and Tabasm Sarwar Chohan (All Retd SSPs), Sewa Singh Mankotia, SR Datta, Mukesh Kumar and BL Kaul (SPs), Mohan Singh, Daljit Singh, Mohinder Singh, Yoginder Singh, SM Jangral, Ajay Punjabi and others.
