JAMMU, Nov 30: SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu accorded warm farewell to Scientist (Horticulture) S P Gupta, KVK-Jammu, R S Pura, on his superannuation after rendering more than 35 years distinguished services in agriculture research and extension of J&K.
TAJ president Dr Vikas Sharma while appreciating Gupta’s contribution in research and extension selflessly, wished him a very healthy and prosperous post retirement life. Besides all the Statutory Officers, HoDs, Faculty members of varsity, the function was attended by Dr J P Sharma, Dr K S Risam, Dr S A Mallick, Dr Abrol, Dr R M Bhagat and Dr D K Arora. The executives of teaching association- Dr P K Rai, Dr Rajeev Sangra, Dr Vinod Gupta and Dr Jai Kapoor also wished Dr Gupta a happy life after retirement.
Sudha Sharma, HoD DIET Jammu was accorded a warm farewell on her retirement on superannuation today at a function which was attended by officers and officials of Education Department who wished her a very happy and healthy post retirement life.
Bashir Mohd Malik, Section Officer DIET Jammu was given a warm farewell on his retirement on superannuation and extended warm felicitations to him and his family members and wished a healthy and prosperous life after retirement. Malik, who was holding key position in different welfare associations of employees as State president of School Education Non Teaching Employees Forum and State president All J&K All Departments Clerical Staff Association, resigned from the post forthwith upon his retirement.
A warm send off was accorded to ASI Ajit Singh, ASI Mohan Lal, ASI Nepal Singh and Sgct Yash Paul Singh by Jammu Police. The function was held at District Police Lines Jammu. SSP Jammu Dr Sunil Gupta, DySP DAR Gourav Mahajan, RI DPL Inspector Sohail Rashid and other staff members wished them for ahappy and prosperous future life. Each retiree was honoured with a cheque of Rs 50,000 as retirement gift (out of Police Welfare Fund).
A warm send off was accorded to Raghbir Puri, who retired as Head Assistant from Youth Services and Sports Department, district Kathua on his retirement in superannuation today. A function was organized by the Department at Kathua in which Sports Officer along with his subordinates, zonal education officers and teachers participated and wished Raghbir Puri a happy and healthy post retirement life.
The officers and officials of Forest Division, Ramnagar today organized a function to bid farewell to Mohan Lal, Head Clerk, on his superannuation today. Officers and officials hailed the contribution of the retiree in the department and wished him healthy and prosperous post-retirement life. DFO Ramnagar, Chander Shaikher, Range Officers Mohammad Iqbal, Chuni Lal and other officials of the Division attended the function.
Department of Information and Public relations today accorded a warm farewell to Commentator Machhar Dass and Driver Rattan Lal of the department who attained superannuation today. Director Information and Public Relations Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Joint Direcor (HQ) Abdul Majid Zargar, Joint Director Information Jammu Tilak Raj Sharma besides other senior officers and officials of the department attended the function and wished the due a healthy and prosperous post-retirement life.
Rural Development Department Doda was today accorded a warm farewell to Zaffer Altaf Patigaroo, incharge Project Manager IWMP Doda on his attaining age of superannuation. District Development Commissioner Doda Bhupinder Kumar, Additional DC Narinder Singh Bali, ACR Doda Ranjeet Singh, CPOO Doda Youginder Katoch and other district officers of Rural Development Department attended the function.
Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) accorded a warm send off to Anil Mahajan, Assistant Registrar and Neelam Gupta, Section Officer who retired after attaining age of superannuation today.
Ashwani Bakshi, vice president, of the Union hailed the contribution of Anil Mahajan and Neelam Gupta. The farewell was accorded during a simple but impressive function in presence of Sham Sharma, general secretary, Sanjeev Chadha, joint secretary, Vikas Langer, organizing secretary, Abhinav Sharma, treasurer, Sunita Amla, Kewal Kumar, Padam Shri Padmini, Jarnail Singh and Jasjeet Singh members of the Union.
Anil Mahajan and Neelam Gupta thanked all the staff members present on the occasion and also conveyed their thanks to all those who stood by them during their long service in the University.
