Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, July 31: Warm farewell was accorded to Dr Ashok Kumar Gupta, Director Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu on his attaining superannuation from Government services today. After completing his B Vsc and AH in 1980 from Veterinary College Munnuthy, Trichur, Kerala Agriculture University Dr Ashok joined the department the same year as V A Surgeon and after serving in various capacities took overe as Director Sheep Husbandry Jammu on April 1, this yerar.
Farewell was also accorded to Vijay Kumari, senior assistant and Prem Nath Jamadar who also retired from Government service of the same department today.
A warm send off was given to Sham Lal Sharma, Executive Engineer (Mech)  in the office of the PHE Mech Division North Jammu on his superannuation today after rendering 39 yerars service in various capacities at various engineering departments.
A warm send off was accorded to Ashok Kumar Bhat, Assistant Administrative Officer of Garrison Engineer Kaluchak on his retirement from service in the office complex of GE Kaluchak. Bhat has been an asset to the organization who rendered 37 years of service to the organization in respective formations. He was wished very well days ahead after retirement.
Rachpaul Singh, Senior Assistant of Department of Agriculture Jammu was given a warm and affectionate farewell here today on his superannuation after putting in more than 31 years of service in the Department. H K Razdan, Director Agriculture Jammu, complimented Rachpaul Singh for his sincere and dedicated services to the department. He also wished him good health, prosperous and happy post retirement life.
A memento was presented in the farewell programme on behalf of the Department as a mark of honour and affection to Rachpaul Singh.
A warm farewell was given to few officers and officials of District Police Jammu on their superannuation from service by Jammu Police. The function was organized in District Police Lines, Jammu. Officers/Jawans of District Police lines Jammu were present on the occasion. They wished the retiring personnel for a happy and prosperous future life. Each retiree was honoured with a cheque of Rs. 50,000 as retirement gift (out of Police Welfare Fund). The retirees included SI Karnail Singh, ASI Krishan Chand, ASI Shiv Ram and Sgct Kamal Kumar.
A warm and affectionate send off was accorded to Brahm Dutt, Jamadar in the Directorate of School Education, who attained his superannuation after rendering 37 years unblemished services in the School Education Department.
Shiv Prakash Upadhyay, Senior Engineer of UNI, Jammu, was today accorded a warm farewell in a simple but impressive function here on attaining superannuation after rendering 35 years of dedicated service in Country’s premier news agency. Upadhyay started his career from UNI Gorakhpur (UP) on November 11, 1982.  He had also worked in Jaipur Centre from October 2005 to August 2006.
From September 2006 to July 31, 2017, Upadhyay was posted in UNI Office Jammu. Bureau Chief, Jammu Bureau, Vishal Bharti hailed Upadhyay for his dedication and honesty for the job and termed him a person with varied capabilities. He also wished him healthy post-retirement life. Other Staff members Subhash Chander Sharma, Bishan Manhas, Karan Bhau and Suraj Prakash also extended their good wishes to Upadhyay.
