JAMMU, May 30: Department of Horticulture Jammu accorded warm and affectionate adieu to Rajeev Mahajan, Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu and Sadeeq Ahmed, Head Assistant, who attained the age of superannuation today after rendering 37 and 35 years of active service in the department.
The main function was organized in the conference Hall of Directorate of Horticulture wherein Director Horticulture Jammu Raj Kumar Katoch graced the occasion along with Joint Director Horticulture Tarvinder Singh and other officers and officials. The officers and other staff present in the function wished the retiring officer/official happy, health and prosperous post retirement life.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Mohammed Jaffer Akhoon and Chief Animal Husbandry Officer (CAHO) Pulwama Dr Shafat Hussain Kakroo were today given a warm farewell by the officers and officials of their Department. In this regard, separate functions were held at CMO Office and Chief Animal Husbandry Office, Pulwama. On the occasion, officers of the respective departments highlighted the achievements of the superannuating officers.
Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union in presence of various employees of the University accorded a warm send off to Vinod Gupta, Assistant Registrar, who retired today after attaining the age of superannuation. The farewell was held in the office chamber of Non-Teaching Employees Union, Administration Block University of Jammu. Pawan Singh Bhau, president of the Union, wished for healthy and prosperous post-retirement life of retirement officer.
The Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) today held a function here to bid an affectionate farewell to Assistant Information Officer, Pawan Kumar, who attained superannuation after serving the Department for almost 35 years. Director Information, Gulzar Ahmad Shabnum, Deputy Director (Central), Parveen Kumar, other senior officers and staff of DIPR were present on the occasion. Services of Kumar which he rendered for the Department were highly appreciated on the occasion. The officers and staff of DIPR wished the retiring Assistant Information Officer a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
A function was organized at headquarters of IRP 16th Battalion, Ramban to bid a warm farewell to three retiring officials namely ASI Chain Singh, follower Ghulam Nabi and follower Mohd Ramzan of the unit, who are proceeding on superannuation with effect from May 31. The function was attended by officers/jawans of IRP 16th Battalion and other guests of the retiring officials. Speaking on the occasion, A K Mahajan (JKPS), SSP, CO IRP 16th Battalion wished the retiring officials a healthy/happy post retirement life.
Staff and Officers of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Sarmesh Kumar Ghasi, Training Officer, Farmers Training Centre (FTC), Jammu and Pyare Lal, Peon in the office of JDA (Inputs), Jammu who are retiring on May 31 after rendering more than 35 years of service in the Department. Joint Director of Agriculture (Inputs) Jammu, Bulesh Kumar Zutshi, speaking on the occasion, wished them a very happy, healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
Warm wishes were also extended to other retiring officers and staff of the department namely Anil Kumar Gurkha, Agriculture Assistant, ADO (Veg), Jammu, Bal Krishan Kandhari, Apiculture Development Assistant, CAO Poonch, Ashok Kumar, JAEO Marh, Sudesh Kumari, Head Assistant, CAD Jammu, Abdul Aziz Sohil and Field Assistant-III, Ramban.
PHE Department Driver/Cleaner Union, Jammu province accorded warm send off to its president Mohan Singh (Chauffer, Mechanical Rural Division, Jammu) and Sudershan Singh (Chauffer, PHE Department, Akhnoor), who are retiring tomorrow from their services in the department. All their colleagues and union members wished them a happy and prosperous retired life.
