Retirees accorded warm farewell

JAMMU, Mar 31: Director Handicrafts, Peerzada Mushtaq Ahmad Shah was accorded a warm send off here today at a function organized by the department.
The officers and officials of the department appreciated the dedicated services of Director and wished him a happy and healthy post retirement life. During his 33-year long service career, Peerzada worked in various capacities and gained lot of experience. He held important positions including Director Agriculture Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Registrar Cooperatives J&K, Director CAPD Kashmir and Director Handicrafts, J&K.
Directorate of Horticulture today bade an affectionate adieu to Beena Anand, Section officer, at a function held here today.
Director, Joint Director and Deputy Director Horticulture, Chief Horticulture Officer, Horticulture Information & Publicity Officer besides other officers and officials of the department extended best wishes to the retiring officer for a healthy post retirement life.
R K Wangnoo, Joint Director, State Land Use Board (SLUB) J & K was given a warm and affectionate  send off here today on his retirement from Government service after putting in 38 long years of service in different capacities in the Department of Agriculture. A K Malhotra, Director Agriculture Jammu, on the occasion complimented Wangnoo for rendering dedicated and unblemished service and also wished him a very happy and prosperous post retirement life.
A warm farewell was accorded to Dr Sant Ram, Director Sheep Husbandry Jammu who retired from Government service today on attaining age of superannuation. Farewell was also accorded to Rattan Lal Chauffeur and Sudesh Singh, Flock Supervisor who also retired from Government service today on superannuation.
A warm farewell was accorded to Dr Nartesh Kumar, LDO Akhnoor by staff members of LDO Organization who attained the age of superannuation in the Animal Husbandry Department today. Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Dr R S Charak highlighted the hard and dedication of then work of the retiree officer. The office bearers of Jammu Kashmir Veterinary Doctors Association wished him happy and healthy post retirement life.
The Principal and staff of GGM Science College, Jammu bade farewell to Prof Bansi Lal Bhat and Dr Kuldeep Singh on their superannuation today. Dr Ajeet Angral, Nodal Principal GGM Science College congratulated both the outgoing faculty for their excellent efforts of teaching in their respective fields.
SKUAST-NTEA-J accorded emotive and warm farewell to Sh. Rattan Lal Head Gardner, Division of Vegetable Sciences and Technology on his superannuation after rendering distinguished services in his respective field in Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu.
Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) accorded a warm send off to Paras Ram, Section Officer, S Amarjit Singh Rissam, Sr. PA  and Ashok  Kumar, Driver  who retired after attaining age of superannuation today. The farewell was held in appreciation of their services rendered to the Institution. Pawan Singh, president, of the Union hailed the contribution of retirees.
Jammu University SC/ST Employees Association also extended farewell to Section Officer Paras Ram Sarmal on his retirement. Associatioon general secretary S Sureejt Singh Heer appreciated the  sincerity and dedication in the performance of his duties and wished him a great future ahead.
Warm send off was accorded to Sham Lal Sharma, S Charanjeet Singh and Nirmal Singh Chauffeur/ Drivers of the Al PHE Department Driver, Cleaners Union who retired today from Mechanical Rural Division Jammu. Sanjay Sharma, Executive Engineer PHE Mech Rural Division also attended the function as a special invitee.
Armed Police Hqrs accorded a warm farewell to Farooq Ahmad Yatoo and Ragubir Singh of Armed Police Hqrs J&K who retired from service today on attaining the age of superannuation.
An impressive function held at the conference hall and Lawns of APHQ J&K Jammu was chaired by L Mohanti-IPS Addl. DGP Armed J&K.
L Mohanti, ADGP Armed joined by his staff officer presented mementos to Farooq Ahmad Yatoo and Ragubir Singh on behalf of officers and officials of APHQ as a token of love besides presenting them the retirement gifts under J&K Police Welfare Scheme on the occasion.
Department  of Agriculture, Reasi, hosted a grand farewell in honour of P L Bhat, Chief Agricultural officer, Reasi on his attaining superannuation after putting in distinguish carrier spanning over a period of 36 years.
Apart from all agriculture officers of the district the farewell was also attended by Ravinder Kumar IAS, District Development Commissioner Reasi, who in his speech praised the dedication, honesty and obedience of PL Bhat.
A warm farewell was given to six officers/officials of District Police Jammu on their superannuation from service by the Jammu Police. The function was organized in District Police Lines, Jammu, where they were wished for a happy and prosperous future life. They appreciated their services rendered for the general public of J&K State.  At last each retiree was honoured with a cheque of Rs. 50,000/- as  retirement gift (out of Police Welfare Fund). The retirees were; SI(M) Survesh Kumar; ASI Des Raj; ASI Amrik Singh; ASI Mohan Lal; HC Kuldeep Raj; HC Waryam Singh; and HC Amarjeet Singh.
A Warm Send off was given to Baldev Raj Sharma who retired as Head Assistant from CAPD Deptt. today after rendering 35 years of successful service in the department, on his superannuation at a function presided over by District Officer along with subordinate wishes a happy and healthy retired life to the retiree and laurel his services rendered in the department.
A Warm Send off was given to Kamal Kishore Khajuria who retired as Handicraft Training Officer from Deptt. of Handicraft today after rendering 37 years  services in different capacities in different areas. On his superannuation at a function presided over by District Handicraft Officer along with subordinate wishes a happy and healthy retired life to the retiree and laurel his services rendered in the department.
