JAMMU, Dec 31: Sushma Kumari, Assistant Child Development Project Officer who retired today from ICDS Project Bishnah (Jammu) was accorded warm send off by Rashi Dutta (Child Develop-ment Project Officer Bishnah) and her staff in a simple but impressive function. She rendered 32 years and 7 months of service in the Department.
Staff and Officers of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Inderjeet Singh, Joint Director of Agriculture (Extension) and Vinod Kumar, Senior Stenographer who retired today after rendering more than 36 years of service to the Depart-ment.
Warm wishes for a happy and prosperous life were also extended to retiring officers and staff of the department (from other districts) namely Surjeet Singh Isher (ADA Jammu), Vijay Koul (Seed Certification Assistant Doda), Thoru Ram (Mali SM Farm Chinore), Mohd Sadiqe (Field Assistant Poonch), Suraj Ram (Field Assistant II Udhampur), Jaswant Singh (PPO Kathua), Mohinder Kumar (JAEO R S Pura), Gulam Ahmad (Field Assistant Reasi) and Bashir Ahmad Gozer (Field Assistant Reasi).
Meanwhile, in another function organized at the office of Chief Agric-ulture Off-icer Jammu, Area Deve-lopment Of-ficer (ADO) Jammu, D D Bhagat was accorded warm send off on his retirement from service after rendering 40 years of service in different capacities.
Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) today accorded an affectionate adieu to Head Assistant, Inderjeet Sharma on his superannuation. Speaking on the occasion, Director DIPR Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar, hailed Inderjeet’s role in the Department extended her best wishes to him for post-retirement life. Joint Director Information (Hq) Irshad Ahmad, Deputy Director (PR), Mridhu Slathia, Deputy Director (AV) Vinay Kumar, Deputy Director Central, Subash Chander, Administrative Officer, Syed Noor-u-Din Andrabi and other officers and officials of DIPR were also present on the occasion.
On attaining the age of superannuation, Sub Inspector Jagdish Singh Jamwal of Zonal Po-lice Headqu-arters Jammu was given a warm send off by the officers/staff of Zonal Police Headquarters. The function was chaired by IGP J/Z Jammu Mukesh Singh among other officers and staff of ZPHQ Jammu who wished him a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
District Police Reasi today organized a simple but impressive function at the Conference Hall of District Police Lines Reasi to bid farewell to SI Shabir Ahmed who attained superannuation after serving the J&K Police department for more than 42 years. Speaking on the occasion, Rashmi Wazir SSP Reasi appreciated the services of retiring officer and wished him a very happy and prosperous post retirement life.
AEE Vikramjit Verma from PDD was given warm farewell on his retirement from Baghelihar Project at Chanderkote. His unblemished 37 years of service was appreciated by all his seniors as well as juniors who wished the retiring officer a healthy and prosperous retired life.
Grand farewell was accorded to Rakesh Kumar Pandita Sub officer Incharge Fire station Akhnoor and Bansi Lal Koul Mechanic Driver Fire Station City Jammu. The farewell was accorded at the office of DFO Sub Command City Jammu. The function was attended by Deputy Director command Jammu G L Pandita and various other officers. The officers and staff wished the retirees a happy post retirement life.
Incharge Librarian, District Library Doda, Syed Nizam Ud Din was accorded a warm send of by staff and locals of Doda on his attaining the age of superannuation today. A simple but impressive function was organized at District Library Doda to bid farewell to Syed Nizam. Chief Education Officer Doda Kh Tariq Hussain was the chief guest on the occasion.
On attaining the age of superannuation, Bashir Ahmed, Abdul Latief, Mohd Bashir and Abdul Rashid (all Followers) serving in Police Academy Udhampur were given warm send off by their colleagues and seniors. Vinay Kumar (SSP) Assistant Director (Admi-nistration) was the chief guest on the occasion on behalf of Director SKPA Udhampur. He wished the retirees a healthy and prosperous post-retirement life.
Non Teaching Employees Association (NTEAJ) SKUAST- Jammu accorded warm send off to Kewal Krishan Sharma, FCLA (Division of Biochem-istry), who retired after attaining the age of superannuation today. The farewell was accorded in presence of Dr J P Sharma, Director Research, Dr Deepak Kher (Director Planning and Monitoring), besides other officers and office bearers of the Association.
PHE Workers Welfare Association Jammu accorded a warm send off to Manzoor Ali (Senior Operator), Jal Shakti Dep-artment (PHE Mec-hanical Div-ision) who retired after serving 40 years in the Department. Subhash Chander, president of the Association and other office bearers wished the retiring official a very healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
To accord warm and affectionate farewell in honor of Mohammad Shafi Dev who attained superannuation after rendering 39 years of services in the PHE Department, a farewell function by PHE Department was organized at Gundna (Doda).
