RAJOURI, Apr 8: Retired policemen from district Rajouri have demanded implementation of one rank one pension scheme and free medical treatment for retirees from J&K Police department.
In meeting of the Retired Police Personnel Forum held here today under the chairmanship of Parkash Sharma, its president, the members strongly projected their issues.
They demanded that one rank, one pension be granted in favour of retired police personnel, free medical treatment to retired policemen and their families, 15 % reservation in police jobs to the wards of Police personnel, grant of Rs 50,000 for the family of retired police personal in case of death for performing last rites, grant of Rs one lakh from Police Welfare Fund to the retired cops on the marriage of their daughters and enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 3000 per month.
