JAMMU, June 9: Social worker and SSP retd Bhupinder Singh today visited Dewangarh area of RS Pura and held interaction with the people.
Interacting with the people, Mr Singh asked them to thoroughly study the performance of the politicians before casting their votes during the forthcoming Assembly elections in order to ensure that good legislators are sent to the Legislature.
“You should not allow the politicians to exploit your sentiments but consider their role in mitigating your grievances before exercising your right to vote”, he said, adding “seek the opinion from majority of people about the past record of the candidates and vote for only the one who has the capacity to work for the people in order to redress their grievances”.
Mr Singh also listened the issues and problems being faced by the locals like excessive electricity bills, worst road conditions, ration-card issues and assured that he will take up all these issues with the concerned departments to seek redressal of the same.
