JAMMU, July 27: Pradesh Congress Committee president, Ghulam Ahmed Mir today appointed retired IGP, Nissar Khan as Chairman of Pahari Cell of the JKPCC and also inducted several other office bearers.
A party spokesman said that new appointments have been made by the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee to strengthen the organization at various levels.
Mir approved these appointments with immediate effect, while the orders were issued by PCC general secretary Incharge (PCC HQ), Th Manmohan Singh here today.
Nisar Khan (Retd IGP) has been appointed as Chairman JKPCC Pahari Cell. Khushal Bali, Karamat Malik and S Rajinder Singh have been appointed as Vice Chairpersons and Danish Khan, Yog Raj Sharma, Mir Jahangir and Sajad Tariq appointed as general secretaries of the Cell.
Rajesh Sadhotra has been appointed as Incharge District Congress Committee president for Reasi.
Ch Hussain Ali Waffa has been appointed as Vice Chairman of JKPCC ST Department; Shashi Sharma as Vice Chairman of JKPCC Kissan Cell; Karan Bhagat as acting Chairman of SC Department of JKPCC while Amrit Bali has been appointed as Vice Chairman JKPCC Refugee Cell.
