KATHUA, Aug 20: All J&K ReT Teachers Forum held a massive protest at Kathua today under the chairmanship of district president, Rakesh Singh and State organizer Mahesh Kumar, provincial publicity secretary, Pankaj Verma and it was attended by Executive members of the Forum Kathua and other teachers of district Kathua.
Shouting slogans against Government the protestors demanded immediate settlement of their demands.
Addressing the protestors, Rakesh Singh and Mahesh Kumar lambasted the Government for not delinking SSA salaries from Central budget and demanded that the same be delinked from MHRD grants and be included in the State budget.
Pankaj Verma demanded release of Salaries to SSA teachers and implementation of Seventh Pay Commission in their favour.
