ReT teachers hold protest, demand de-linking of SSA salary

DODA, June 5: Demanding de-linking of SSA salary, the Rehber-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers held protest in front of Chief Education Office (CEO), here today.
Amid slogans against the Government and the Education Minister, a large number of ReT teachers under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir ReT Teachers Forum assembled in front of Chief Education Office and held protest.
While speaking, Sajjad Malik, District President, JKReTTF warned the Government not to play with the emotions of the ReT teachers as they will not spare or move an inch if their demands will not be addressed.
Demanding de-linking of SSA salary, Malik said that they will continue their protest peacefully and if needed violently too to get their demands redressed.
Malik said that they have been waiting since long as the Government promised and assured to work on a road map to sort out the issues but this is really shameful on part of Government that despite such assurances they still have nothing concrete to offer.
Ashiq Jaral, Senior Vice President, Neha Sharma, District Press and Publicity Secretary, Wahid Wani General Secretary of Forum, Mushtaa Dar Zonal President Ghat, Shoket Ganie Zonal President and many others were present during the protest.
