JAMMU, Oct 13: All J&K Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) Teachers Forum threatened to go on hunger strike if their demands were not redressed by the Government at the earliest.
This decision was taken in a meeting of the Forum held under the chairmanship of its State Vice Chairperson, Neenu Lata.
While speaking, Neenu Lata said that the forum extends full support to those EV’s converted ReT’s, who are on hunger strike at Srinagar.
Neenu Lata said converted ReTs are suffering for the last 9 years after completing their pattern of service, but till date they have not been regularized, compelling them to adopt agitational path.
She added that if their demands were not conceded at the earliest, then they would go on hunger strike at winter capital after Darbar move.
