BHADERWAH, Feb 26: J&K Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum delegation led by its district president Sajad Malik submitted a memorandum of demands to Mohammad Ashraf Rather, Chief Education Officer (CEO).
During the meeting, the delegation apprised CEO about their demands including release of pending arrears, regular salary to newly regularized ReT teachers, provision of PRAN cards in transparent manner, release of pending arrears of regularized ReT teachers in various zones of district especially Gundna and Assar zones, inclusion of five year rendered service of ReT teachers in their service record for promotional benefit, implementation of Government order for old pension scheme, formation of a suitable transfer policy and provision of SRO 43.
CEO assured the deputation for early consideration of their genuine demands.
Among others present were Ashaq Jaral and Ramesh Kumar, senior vice presidents, Wahid Wani, secretary, Sanjay Parihar, Sajad Rahi, Ghulam Ali Naik, Mehboob Aalam, Zahir Mohammad, etc.
