ReT Teachers’ Forum holds monthly meet

UDHAMPUR, May 5: All J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum held monthly meeting under the chairmanship of its district president Lekh Raj Parihar, in which delegates from all the 11 zones of the district took part.
While speaking, Parihar urged the Deputy Chief Minister to release the pending salary of regularized ReT teachers. He said that it is very difficult for them to support their families, when prices of essential commodities are touching the sky.
He also appealed the Chief Education Officer to make provisions for the salary and other dues of ReT teachers at zonal level.
Parihar also demanded regularization of EVs as general line teachers, inclusion of five years rendered ReTs period for seniority benefits, old pension scheme in favour of ReTs appointed before January 1, 2010, provision of SRO 43 and transfer policy for regularized ReT teachers.
