UDHAMPUR, Oct 5: A monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of State president Vinod Sharma and district president, Lekh Raj Parihar.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma showed resentment against the non-release of pending salary of regularized ReT Teachers under SSA in many districts of the State. He said though the Government. has released a month’s salary on Eid but same is not credited into Accounts of these teachers due to holidays before Eid and teachers are suffering a lot.
He further said that they have appealed the Central and State Governments to release adequate funds under SSA for the smooth release of salaries of these teachers who are still waiting helplessly for the release of their salaries.
He also demanded the release of one year arrear of regularized EVs and release of grants under KGBV scheme for regularized ReT Teachers.
Lekh Raj Parihar demanded the release of grants and Mid-Day Meals scheme for the proper functioning of MDM.
Those present on the occasion, included Sham Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Pritam Goswami, Parmod Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Bhushan Khajuria, Sandeep Sharma, Sushil Singh and others.
