JAMMU, Nov 22: Jammu Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKRETTF) has expressed concern over the delay in release of salaries of 41,000 teachers for the last four months.
In a handout the Forum Chairman said that unusual delay in the release of Seventh Pay Commission arrears to the teachers is not proper.
He further said that teachers are on roads for last one year and after the assurance of administration a high level committee headed by Finance Secretary was framed which had assured that genuine problems of teachers will be solved in the second week of November.
The Forum also demanded de-linking of SSA salaries from center to state budget.
Forum leaders have appealed the Governor to intervene into the matter and get their demands fulfilled.
