JAMMU, Feb 10: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Rehbar-e-Talim Teachers Forum, led by its chairman Bashir Ahmad Dar, called on Education Minister Naeem Akhtar, here today, and discussed with him the core issues of ReT community.
During the hour-long meeting, the delegation apprised the Minister about ReTs’ demands like inclusion of five year service and transfer policy. A memorandum of demands was submitted to the minister.
The minister gave a patient hearing to the delegation and on spot directed the Principal Secretary Education to look into genuine demands for necessary action.
The Minister also informed that the delay in release of SSA salary was due to lack of funds in MHRD and the Chief Minister has intervened in this regard.
