JAMMU, Jan 15: A deputation of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum today called on Principal Secretary Finance, B B Vyas at Civil Sectt Jammu. The deputation was led by State president Vinod Sharma.
While interacting with B B Vyas, Vinod Sharma urged him to make provision for the release of several months pending salary under SSA. He said that regularized ReT Teachers under SSA are without salary throughout the State for the last 4 to 10 months and have been facing a lot of problems to meet out their basic needs. He also urged the Principal Secretary Finance to release salary grants of 3rd teachers under District Plan.
B B Vyas gave a patient hearing to the deputation and disclosed that he is going to convene meeting of Education Department in next week and the matter of salary will be discussed for its early release.
Others who were also part of the deputation, included Sukhdev Singh, Lekh Raj Parihar, Ravinder Chib, Surjeet Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Mohan Lal and Bhushan Kumar.
