POONCH, Aug 27: Senior PDP leader Nadeem Rafiq Hussain Khan (Adv) has appealed today to the Divisional Commissioner Jammu and District Administration Poonch for restoring mobile networking and internet services in Poonch district.
In a message to the concerned authorities, Nadeem Rafiq has said that the situation in Poonch district remained normal from the day when strict restrictions were imposed across the whole Jammu province.
“If the communication services were restored in Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Samba and in few other regions of Jammu province then why not in Poonch, Mendhar, Surankote and Mandi in Poonch district despite the fact that situation which remained normal here as in Jammu and other parts,” Nadeem asked.
He alleged that people are suffering badly due to the lack of communication services in Mendhar, Surankote, Poonch and Mandi.
He further alleged that the situation in Poonch remained normal from the day when restrictions were imposed even representatives of Peace Committees assured full support and co-operation to the District Administration during such critical situation but irony is that the concerned authorities still not agreeing for it. He has appealed to the Divisional Commissioner Jammu and District Administration Poonch for restoring the communication services including mobile network and internet services in Poonch.
