JAMMU, June 2: Bagh-e-Bahu police arrested a restaurant owner along with 15 kilograms of poppy straw.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu police station conducted raid at Orange Restaurant and recovered 15 kilograms poppy straw from the restaurant owner.
The accused restaurant owner identified as Abdul Hanief alias Hanifu, son of Nazir Ahmed of Ragoora has been arrested.
A case under FIR Number 68/16 under Section 8/15 Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu police station and investigation started.
