This has reference to the article ‘Responsible tourism’ DE May 30, 2017.
Tourism sector which remains mainstay of economy of a particular place will sustain only if stakholders are quite aware of their responsibilities. It is not mere responsibility of Government agencies but also that of stakeholders and tourists as well to take care of a tourist place. They have to take care of local culture, and traditions by appreciating them, and not do anything which may hurt the sensibilities of people living there. It is their responsibility not to pollute or harm the fragile ecology of the region or place they visit.
Otherwise, that place would lose its charm and may become another polluted, defiled place worth not visiting.
The author has enumerated various measures which need to be assimilated or adopted so that we can become responsible enough to care for our natural and scenic spots which are gifts of God to us.
