KISHTWAR, June 10: The residents of Suid Dacchan held protest against shortage of essential commodities.
Large number of people hailing from Suid Dacchan held protest and raised slogans against the Government.
The protesters alleged that they are facing shortage of essential commodities including food grain for the past several time, but no one from the administration has taken step to mitigate their suffering.
“Apart from essential commodities, we are also facing electricity and drinking water problems, but administration is least bothered about our issues”, one of the protester said.
He appealed to administration to redress their issues at the earliest.
Later, the protesters submitted memorandum of demands to SHO Police Station Dacchan for forwarding the same to administration for consideration.
