UDHAMPUR, Sept 25: Alleging failure of Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department in providing adequate water supply, the residents of Ward Number 21 in Kallar today held protest.
The protestors raised slogans against the PHE Department and District administration Udhampur.
They alleged that with they are suffering due to no regular supply of drinking water.
Several times the matter was brought into the notice of the concerned authorities, but nothing has been done till today.
“We staged protests many times to highlight our grievance but no action was taken in this regard till date”, the residents alleged.
The protestors demanded regular supply of drinking water in their area.
