KISHTWAR, May 14: A triple storey residential building was gutted in fire in Bera Bhata area here. In the incident, four persons including a child received injuries.
As per police sources, fire broke out in the triple storey residential building of Jatinder Sharma, son of late Ram Krishan Lal Sharma in Bera Bhata area here.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with tenders rushed to the spot and started operation to douse the flames. Army personnel also assisted in the operation.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control, but till then the building was completely gutted in fire.
Four persons including a child and lady received injuries while rushing out of the building and were shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar, where their condition was stated to be out of danger. Exact loss is to be ascertained yet.
Kishtwar Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
