RAMBAN, Feb 17: A residential house comprising half a dozen rooms was destroyed here today in Karawa locality of Banihal.
Though there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the incident but the blaze caused immense damage to the house and the things kept in it.
Official sources said that fire broke out at the roof of house belonging to Abdul Latief Naik in Karawa locality of Banihal.
On getting information about the fire police, army and fire tenders from Banihal reached the spot and doused the flames but by then the house and all the household items kept there like ration and other valuables were completely destroyed.
Police has started investigating to know the reason behind the fire incident.
